Congratulations
on your forthcoming wedding and for considering HMS Warrior 1860
as the venue for this special occasion. Warrior is unique and undoubtedly one of the most sought-after
locations on the South Coast.
HMS
Warrior 1860 is becoming increasingly popular as a wedding venue
so an early reservation is strongly recommended, particularly for summer
weekends.
A
civil wedding ceremony in the United Kingdom must take place between
0800 and 1800 in a licensed area. On board Warrior both the
Captain's cabin and the Officers' Half Deck have been selected as suitable
for a licence.

Weddings
on Board
Are
there any restrictions of which we should be aware?
In
view of the historic nature and construction of HMS Warrior 1860
smoking is not allowed on board. Smoking is allowed however once
completely clear of the ship - i.e. on the jetty. Ladies
are requested not to wear shoes with stiletto heels as these are likely
to cause damage to the wooden decks.
There
must be no confetti or rice on board, nor in the Naval Base. Photography
is permitted in the Captain's cabin on the Half Deck and on the Upper
and Main Decks at no extra charge provided it is for personal use only.
