Visit HMS Warrior 1860 and step back in time... to 1861
As you step on board HMS Warrior you are entering the world of a Victorian sailor. The aim of the Warrior Preservation Trust has been to restore the ship, as near as possible, to her 1860s condition, and we want you to imagine that the ship's company has just gone ashore.
There is something to interest for everyone and visitors are encouraged to touch and try things out, sit at a mess deck table, join in a gun drill - become part of history onboard.
You are invited to explore Warrior's four vast decks at your leisure. Please take your time and feel free to wander. We do, however, recommend you allow approximately 1 - 1 ½ hours for your visit. There are crew and volunteers on board who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
We want you to enjoy this very special ship.
