massive Gun Deck, the fighting citadel of the ship, is an ideal setting
for those in search of that special venue with a difference for the larger
gathering. Having wandered four decks of the ship, with Quartermasters in 1860 uniform and guides on hand to provide information for the enquiring mind, guests then take dinner on the Gun Deck in unique surroundings, absorbing the 1860 atmosphere where 600 Victorian sailors worked, ate and slept.

Between sixty and two hundred and eighty guests can sit at mess tables set between the broadside guns, with their firing equipment overhead and close-quarter fighting arms aongside. Alternatively up to six hundred may be entertained comfortably on this deck by those wishing to host a cocktail party or standing finger buffet.
